I found an interesting article for those that are considering coming down to South America to teach English; at least in Argentina. With the economic downturn and inflation Argentina isn't the USD playground it used to be, and most people haven't realized that. Here's hoping people can learn from this article and come into teaching English with a better grasp of the realities!

Oktoberfest is invading Cordoba this weekend. A direct quote from my friend German was, "After three in the morning, you just get punched in the face."
He was speaking literally. Go Oktoberfest!
In all seriousness, it will be fun. Be safe!

Some people might think this looks destroyed while others (myself included) thinks this is just the perfect example of the quaint beauty of Cordoba. Get ready to rock socks however, this quaint little town is about to be over-run by crowds pouring in for its famous oktober fest - beginning this weekend and running through the end of next week. |
