Cordoba is the perfect location for summer beach trips. Lots of people from Buenos Aires head to Cordoba to lounge on the river beach. It's a very laid back and great break from the busy city. It's a great way to spend a weekend with friends.

Sarmiento Park is located atop the city of Cordoba, offering great views and outdoor activities for those that want to get away from the city life for a day.  There are plenty of ways to get into the park, either Poeta Lugones Avenue or through the main entrance near Plaza Espana.

I found an interesting article for those that are considering coming down to South America to teach English; at least in Argentina.  With the economic downturn and inflation Argentina isn't the USD playground it used to be, and most people haven't realized that.  Here's hoping people can learn from this article and come into teaching English with a better grasp of the realities!
